"Know when to hold'em, Know when to fold."
What does true maturity look like? And what are the “deal breakers” that say monastic life will never be the right fit for her? Theoretically older candidates should be easier to assess than younger ones because they have had years to develop and demonstrate their psychological maturity and interpersonal abilities, but it doesn’t always feel that way. These presentations will describe the two ends of the continuum—markers of healthy maturity and markers of patterns that don't work well in community—and give us the opportunity to discuss difficult decisions regarding both older and younger women in Initial Formation.
